Until now, using Plugin Auditor meant coming to pluginauditor.com, searching for a plugin or uploading a ZIP, and running the audit there.
Ultimate Auditor brings that workflow directly into WordPress.
Once your site is connected to Plugin Auditor, you can scan the plugins already installed on your website, review their audit status, and identify which ones need attention without manually looking them up one by one.
Meet Ultimate Auditor
Ultimate Auditor brings Plugin Auditor’s scanning capabilities into your WordPress admin area.
Instead of auditing plugins individually outside your website, you can review your entire installed plugin collection from one place.
Here’s what you can do:
- Single and bulk scanning: Audit individual plugins or scan multiple installed plugins in one go.
- Plugin audit scores: View overall and category-specific scores, along with findings grouped by severity.
- Site-wide dashboard: Get an overview of your installed plugins, recent scans, category scores and plugins requiring attention.
- Plugin maintenance insights: Identify plugins with available updates, abandoned plugins and plugins closed on WordPress.org.
- Detailed audit reports: Access comprehensive reports with findings mapped to their exact files and line numbers.
- Third-party plugin support: Audit plugins from WordPress.org alongside premium and custom-built plugins installed on your website.
We’ve also integrated audit scores directly into the native WordPress Plugins screen, making it easier to review results while managing your plugins.
Your Plugin Audit Dashboard
Ultimate Auditor introduces a dedicated dashboard that brings your plugin audit information together.
You can review your site’s audit results across security, code quality, performance, compatibility, accessibility and privacy.
Each plugin also receives an individual score, helping you identify which ones deserve closer attention.

The integration uses our existing scanning engine, so the experience is familiar while the workflow is considerably simpler.
Getting Started With Ultimate Auditor
Ultimate Auditor connects to your Plugin Auditor account using an API key.
Once connected, you can start auditing the plugins installed on your WordPress site and review their audit status from the Ultimate Auditor dashboard.

A Note About Plugin Privacy
For WordPress.org plugins, Ultimate Auditor sends only the plugin slug and version to our scanning service.
For premium and custom plugins, it temporarily uploads a ZIP archive for analysis. The uploaded code is deleted after the scan completes.
Ultimate Auditor performs automated code and standards analysis. It isn’t a known-vulnerability scanner or a replacement for your existing WordPress security tools.
